Jeff Leyton is West Ends longest running Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. In fact Jeff has performed the role not just on West End but also on various tours and concert productions.

He also starred as Old Deuteronomy in the West End production of “Cats,” and is a favourite for his musical concerts around the world.

In this interview he talks about his years as Jean Valjean and why he thinks “Les Miserables” resonates with so many people. He also reveals how the musical led to his unexpected friendship with Russell Crowe and getting seen by Cher.
